Liugou Village is always connected with brazier pots and the feast of tofu. Smart and hard-working villagers have used traditional brazier pots and earthen pots to create the feast of unique and delicious tofu, making the once anonymous village a top destination for foodies seeking cuisines.

The feast of tofu in Liugou Village has combined the essence of traditional Chinese eating culture and the modern concepts for healthy diets. The villagers have, based on the traditional brazier pots, redeveloped tofu and created a unique feast of tofu in three colors: soybean curd in yellow good for maintaining beauty and youth, black bean curd good for nutrition, and mung bean curd in green good for removing heat.

In the freezing cold winter, it is snowing heavily outside and inside is the brazier with glowing red coal. On the brazier there is the pot with tofu, bacon, vermicelli and cabbage. A pot of white spirit is warmed and the feast begins.

The hot tofu symbolizes the great hope of the villagers and Liugou Village boasts of a long history. The village used to be an ancient city. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Liugou was booming with business. There were shops, pawnshops and 26 temples of various sizes.
