Yanqing English Website officially launched on April 16

On April 16, 2019, twelve days before the Beijing Expo 2019, Tourism Information Conference themed with 'Tour in Yanqing, Stroll in Expo, Lodge in flower fields' was held in Beijing Yanqing, the host place of Beijing Expo 2019. During the conference, Yanqing English Website (https://bj.cri.cn/yanqing), co-established by the Publicity Department of the CPC Yanqing District Committee and CRIOnline, was officially launched. The promotion video of Yanqing's new city image was released as well. Based on CRIOnline multi-lingual communication platform, Yanqing English Website will promote Yanqing's culture and tourism resources, tell Yanqing's stories, and transmit Yanqing's voice to the world with an international perspective.

With the dominate tones of orange, green, and blue, Yanqing English Website illustrates the beauty of four seasons in Yanqing. The layout of the website is concise and graceful, which highlights the beautiful natural and urban landscapes, gives the audience visual enjoyment and better presents Yanqing's city image. Yanqing English Website has set up seven columns, including Picture, Travel, Folkway, Culture, Video, Winter Olympics, and Expo 2019. Trough stories, pictures and videos, the website will introduce Yanqing's folk culture, travel, urban development, as well as the information about Beijing Expo 2019 and Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
Great Yanqing Great Wall. Yanqing, one of the suburban districts of Beijing, is located on the northwest of the city. Yanqing's greening rate reaches 70.04% and air quality ranks top in Beijing. Therefore, Yanqing is called the 'back garden' of Beijing. Furthermore, based on over 30 tourist attractions such as Badaling Great Wall, the World Cultural Heritage, Yanqing has developed distinctive tourist products covering four seasons, and receives more than 21 million tourists per year.
