Video: Bus driver's glare makes thief return stolen phone

A thief stole a cellphone from a passenger boarding a bus in Zhengzhou, Henan province, on April 10, 2017.

Just as the thief took the cellphone out of the passenger's pocket, the female bus driver saw him.

She tried to tell the passenger but he didn't hear it. Then, the bus driver glared at the thief continuously for about 30 seconds. 

The bus driver successfully stared the thief down, frightening him enough to return the cellphone, who put it on the floor in front of the door.

The cellphone safely made its way back to the rightful owner.
