Chinese authorities are suggesting significant progress has been made as part of the 100-day economic action plan agreed-to by Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump.

Deputy Finance Minister Zhu Guangyao said on Friday that consensus is being reached in a number of areas.

So far, the 100-day action plan has already seen the Chinese side agree to lift the ban on US beef imports, while the US has agreed to let Chinese poultry back into the country.

Other agreements include allowing US liquefied natural gas into China.

The Chinese side has also agreed to let foreign-funded financial services companies provide credit ratings in China.

Most of the agreements are expected to be implemented by July 16

The 100-day economic action plan was one of the outcomes of the meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump during their initial meeting in Florida in April.
