The special effects movie "Hidden Universe 3D", screened at the Dome Theater inside Beijing Science Center, offered a captivating portrayal of the vastness of the universe and human's spirit that drives exploration of the unknown. A special science instructor then led the families on an easy-to-understand journey into the principles of science and technology, deepening the friendship between the families while learning and making their own works. Later, the female students from Beifang Middle School in Huairou District presented the "Chinese Dragon Dance" and a show where they interacted with AI robots.

As part of the event, a themed exhibition displayed the highlights of the previous sessions of the "Celebrating International Day of Families Together - Beijing", and themes of the International Day of Families of the United Nations over the years. One section, titled "Childlike Dreams for Friendly Beijing", was dedicated to Beijing's construction of a child-friendly city and featured an audio interactive area named "1-meter Voice", where guests could listen to the voices of children from all over the world. The children's wishes for a "children-friendly" Beijing written down during the event will also be submitted to Beijing Working Committee on Women and Children, where they would be reviewed and considered for incorporation into the city's urban planning initiatives.
