On April 10th, CRI reporters went to visit Guanlin, which is said to be the place where Guan Yu, a general in the Three Kingdoms period, was buried. Guanlin is a popular traveling destination. The reporters saw many visitors kowtow in front of the statue of Guan Yu to commemorate this hero.

Guanlin features lush cypress forests, magnificent temples, grand tablets and a mysterious atmosphere. It is now one of the most famous ancient architectures and traveling destinations in Luoyang. The foreign reporters all liked Guanlin very much, but it wasn't just because of the harmonious compliment between gardens and architecture; they also appreciated the sense of antiquity exuded by the ancient temples.
