Enormous amount of tourists are stranded in Hainan Province

An enormous amount of tourists are stranded in Hainan Province, one of the hottest tourist destinations in China, as thousands of vehicles queue for the ferry across the Qiongzhou Strait to Guangdong Province after the Spring Festival holiday. Due to the severe fog, which caused a ship collision, all three of Haikou’s ferry services were suspended. Such thick fog was last seen during Spring Festival in 1951.
