Yulin Transforms and Upgrades Local Business Environment to Attract Investment by Yulin Businessmen

Recently, the Yulin Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government co-sponsored the First Conference of Startups in Yulin by Yulin Businessmen themed “New Era, New Yulin and New Yulin Businessmen”. The event attracted the participation by the representatives of Yulin businessmen and entrepreneurs supporting the development of Yulin from around China. It provided a good opportunity for them to share successful experiences and entrepreneurial experiences, reach consensus and enhance friendship through various dialogue and exchange activities such as “Yulin Private Economy Innovation & Development Forum”, “The Form for Promoting Investment in the Areas along Yellow River in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Shanxi Provinces”, “Yu Lin is so charming – the Golden Autumn Singing Gala of First Conference of Startups in Yulin by Yulin Businessmen" and “Yulin Businessmen’s Visit to Counties and Districts Yulin City”. As a result, this helps develop better business environment for supporting and encouraging startups.

Since the ancient times, Yulin has been a major hub of business and trade. Since the reform and opening up, the businessmen from Yulin have been continuously expanding their business around China and even the world. More than 40 Yulin Chambers of Commerce have been established outside of Yulin, and more than 1,200 enterprises have been set up, with business scope covering wide variety of fields. The construction of Yulin Energy and Chemical Industry Base, in particular, ushered Yulin's economy into an era of high-speed development.

It was learned that in 2018, the Yulin Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government will allocate 30 square kilometers in the Southwest New District for actively developing various types of innovation platforms, continuously increasing investment in science and technology, and seeking for further cooperation among production, education and research. At present, it is focusing on reform throughout the industry park, giving high priority to integrating and upgrading the park platform for the purpose of transforming it into an effective platform that can accommodate large enterprises, large projects and major industries, so as to attract Yulin businessmen to start business here.

According to the statistics, the projects signed at the First Conference of Startups in Yulin by Yulin Businessmen cover wide range of fields from design of high-end energy and chemical projects , equipment manufacturing, special agriculture, biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, and new materials to modern services, etc. Among them, 31 projects were signed, including 11 contract projects with a total investment of RMB4.022 billion and 20 agreed projects with a total investment of RMB64.005 billion.
