2019 'Happy Chinese New Year 2019 – Night of Beijing' performance was launched

On Jan 28 local time, 2019 Greece 'Happy Chinese New Year 2019 – Night of Beijing' serial activities were held in Thessaloniki, the second largest city of Greece, which is about 500 km away from Athens. This is the first time for Greece to hold the 'Happy Chinese New Year 2019 – Night of Beijing' activities outside Athens.

During the activities, many excellent artists brought performances full of Chinese characteristics to the audience. During this cultural "feast", wonderful shows such as the dance show Emperor of the Qin Dynasty Inspecting Troops, the acrobatic show Dragon Ball, and Kunqu Opera A Surprising Dream delivered the spirit of Chinese culture to local people and won praise from the audience.

This wonderful performance has told "Chinese story" and delivered "Chinese voice" to the world in "world language". The 'Happy Chinese New Year' activities have impressed everyone of the audience and narrowed the distance between Greek and Chinese people.

Jan 28, or Dec 23 in Chinese lunar calendar, is the "off year" in northern China. On that day, Chinese people often prepare maltose candies for the god of kitchen. 2019 'Happy Chinese New Year 2019 – Night of Beijing' performance is a big gift from hometown for Chinese people in Greece.
