The environment of streets and alleys in Yanqing, Beijing has been upgraded

Recently, the regulation of the environment of 144 back streets and alleys in Yanqing, Beijing has been basically completed. Through regulation, the environment of these streets and alleys has become tidy and clean. The illegally squatted buildings have been replaced by street parks and beautiful wall paintings. Walking in the parks, or sitting in the shade of trees are very relaxing to people.

At the meantime, Yanqing District has been improving the quality of street culture, and establishing characteristic culture street under the guidance of ‘One Street, One Leading Product’. The paintings with Beijing Expo 2019 and Beijing 2022 elements, are exhibited on manhole covers, utility boxes, and walls in some streets of Yanqing through colour display, board display, and window display. In this way, the quality of Yanqing streets’ environment has been improved.
