2019 Hundred-Li Lake and Mountain Colonnade Drama Culture Week kicked off in Yanqing, Beijing

Recently, the Drama Culture Week with the theme of 'Visit Hundred-Li Lake and Mountain Colonnade, Watch the Opera, Enjoy Beijing Expo' kicked off in Qianjiadian Town, Yanqing District. During the drama culture week, a total of 18 artistic shows, nine Pingshu performances, and six stage shows of intangible culture heritage met the audience.

Apart from brilliant performances, the food court and the folk culture exhibition were set up at the venue of the activity. Visitors can watch the operas, enjoy country foods, or learn about facial make-up, paper-cutting, dough modeling, sugar painting, and Chinese knotting, to feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

During the activity, citizens can go to the Qianjiazhen Culture Square at 7.00 p.m. every day to watch the shows such as Hebei Clapper Opera, Pingju, and child drama, in order to know more about the quintessence of Chinese culture and intangible culture heritage when they are enjoying the beautiful scenery of Hundred-Li Lake and Mountain Colonnade.

Qianjiadian Town has profound historical and cultural deposits. It has natural scenic spots including Silicified Wood Geopark, Dishui Lake, Wulong Canyon, and Baita Riverside Park, and historical and cultural relics such as Chaoyang Temple, Dragon King Temple, and Guandi Temple. In Sepmtember 2010, Hundred-Li Lake and Mountain Colonnade was rated as the AAAA National Tourism Attraction, and became the first AAAA tourism attraction in China with tourism area covers the whole town.
