Beijing Great Wall Cultural Research Association was established in Yanqing

Recently, the Beijing Great Wall Cultural Research Association was formally established in Yanqing, Beijing, and held its first general meeting. More than 60 experts and scholars engaged in the protection and research of the Great Wall culture participated in the meeting. They also provided intellectual support for the construction of the Great Wall Cultural Belt and the protection of the Great Wall Cultural Heritage in Beijing.

Among the areas along the Great Wall, the Great Wall in Beijing area has the best preservation, the most prominent value, the most complex engineering, the richest culture, and has a high international reputation and influence. In order to further study, excavate, protect and publicize the cultural resources of the Great Wall, carry forward the great spirit of the Chinese nation marked by the Great Wall, and build a brand of the Great Wall Cultural Belt with leading and influential force in the whole country, the Yanqing District Committee and District Government initiated the establishment of the Beijing Great Wall Cultural Research Association, aiming at the abundant cultural heritage of the Great Wall in Beijing. The Great Wall Cultural Heritage will create a powerful platform for the cultural excavation, research, protection, dissemination and industrial development of the Great Wall, form a highland for the cultural construction of the Great Wall with national leadership and influence, and create a think tank for the construction of the Great Wall Cultural Belt.
