Introduction of China Today Arts Week

China Today Arts Week is a non-profit exchange event that comprehensively displays the Chinese contemporary culture and art launched by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles every year. Its purpose is to enhance the audience's understanding of Chinese contemporary culture, art and creative ideas through cultural and artistic exchanges, share the charm and achievements of Chinese culture and art, and enhance mutual understanding and friendship between artists and people of different nationalities. China Today Arts Week covers 11 categories including drama, film, fine arts, dance, music, folk art, photography, calligraphy, acrobatics and television, and it can be extended to fashion design, animation art and architectural design. The performance team is usually composed of 30-70 excellent young and middle-aged artists organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

In the form of joint production by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and domestic and overseas partners, China Today Arts Week presents the inheritance of Chinese culture and art of 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, the integration of eastern and western traditions and modern concepts, and the spiritual outlook of outstanding Chinese artists who are full of creativity and lead the development direction of Chinese literature and art, as well as the innovation and development achievements of Chinese contemporary culture and art in an innovative perspective and multiple approaches.

China Today Arts Week, founded by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles in 2004, it has been held in Canada, Greece, Australia, Austria, Japan, Egypt, Chile, Sweden, the United States, Cambodia, Thailand, Monaco, the Czech republic, Belgium, Mauritius, Reunion, India and Russia. It will be held in Latin America in 2019 and United Kingdom in 2020.
