Representatives of Chinese Antituberculosis Association visited pharmaceutical factory of Fosun Pharma in India

Recently, the 50th Union World Conference on Lung Health was held in Hyderabad, India, during which representatives of the Chinese Antituberculosis Association visited the pharmaceutical factory of Fosun Pharma in India. 

The meeting was hosted by the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union). The theme of the lung health conference is "Ending the Emergency: Science, Leadership, Action". Public healthadministrators, experts, scholars, R & D and production institutions from different countries and regions have gathered here on the theme of tuberculosis prevention, diagnoses and treatment. 

Chinese Anti-tuberculosis Association, the member of The Union, attended the conference to understand the international progress, and meanwhile, promote Chinese specialists and production enterprises with the international development.

Wei Xiaolin, vice chairman of the Union, at the invitation of Liu Jianjun, chairman of the Chinese Antituberculosis Association, and Cheng Shiming, secretary general of the association, visited Gland Pharma, Fosun Pharma's factory in Hyderabad, India, on November 1 to understand the development of Indian pharma industry. 

After visited the FPP production workshop and package workshop, specialists team praised GMP management of the Indian pharmaceutical factory, rigorous quality control system, and the drugs of high quality and low price provided with the Indian pharmaceutical company. In the course of the exchange, Yao Fang, co-chairman of Fosun Pharma, and Yang Bo, general manager of Hongqi Pharma, led the Sino-Indian team of Fosun Pharma to communicate with the experts, and expressed the determination to promote the business exchanges at home and abroad. They hoped to promote the improvement in development, production, and quality of Chinese pharmaceutical companies of Fosun Parma and supply the patients with reliable and economical medicines, by bringing the advanced successful experiences to China. 

Relying on the high quality resources of Fosun Pharma, Hongqi Pharma, as an important manufacturer of anti-tuberculosis drugs in China, will serve tuberculosis patients and tuberculosis prevention in China.

During the exchange, Professor Wei Xiao Lin suggested that Fosun Pharma should do a gob job in tuberculosis prevention on a higher global perspective; Chairman Liu Jian Jun suggested that while providing tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment, Fosun Pharma should proceed with “double thousand actions” project organized by Chinese Anti-tuberculosis Welfare Fund, should give care to more tuberculosis patients, should work for the elimination of tuberculosis and prevention of the poverty caused by tuberculosis.
