Call for Creative Logo Design and Slogan Ideas for the Official Web Portal for People's Government of Beijing Municipality Launched

From September 18 to October 18, the Official Web Portal for the People's Government of Beijing Municipality will solicit creative logo design and slogan ideas. Results will be announced in mid to late November on the Official Web Portal for the People's Government of Beijing Municipality.

The Official Web Portal for the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, host by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, undertaken by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and Beijing Municipality Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, is a multi-language, international service platform encompassing various functions in information release, public service and consultation. It is currently available in  English, Japanese, Korea, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.

The logo design should be a colored and graphic pattern based on a unique idea, with a representative image for the site, showcasing the new image of Beijing; The slogan should be no more than five appealing, catchy, distinctive, yet simple words. Works should be submitted via digital format(e-mail for submission: Beijingimage@126.com), including the descriptive meaning in Chinese or English.

After going through the primary selection, experts' review, and final evaluation, one logo and one website name will be selected for application throughout the site, including online and offline materials for promotional purposes. And 8 logos and 8 website slogans will be awarded.

This opportunity is open to creatives from all walks of like in China and overseas, not limited to organizations, groups or individuals. The activity will last from September 18, 2021 to October 18, followed by a review and evaluation segment from October 19 to November 7. Results will be announced in mid to late November on the Official Web Portal for the People's Government of Beijing Municipality (http://www.beijing.gov.cn/)  and (http://english.beijing.gov.cn/).
