The 19th Chengdu International Food Festival Opens

Recently, the 19th Chengdu International Food Festival, hosted by the Chengdu Municipal People's Government and organized by the Chengdu Commerce Bureau, officially kicked off at the main venue of Chengdu New Jinniu Park.

This year's food festival will carry out a series of activities with the main line of "Searching Chengdu Cuisine, Tasting Chengdu Cuisine, and Reviewing Chengdu Cuisine", so as to bring benefits to businesses and the public, activate the potential of catering consumption, drive the recovery of consumption, and promote the development and upgrading of the food industry in a healthy and orderly way.

There are more than 60 booths in the main venue of this food festival, which are divided into "Chengdu Urban Area Famous Dishes Exhibition Area", "Sichuan Characteristic Snacks Exhibition Area", "Chongqing Characteristic Food Exhibition Area", "Pre-made Food Special Exhibition Area", "Bartenders Exhibition Area", and "Green and Low-carbon Exhibition Area", displaying hundreds of special delicacies.

In addition, this food festival also launched major activities such as the "Taste of Chengdu" main venue special food exhibition, 2023 new dish release show, and 2023 Chengdu best restaurant selection. By the end of December, Chengdu's 23 districts (cities) and counties will successively carry out food festival experience activities with regional characteristics, such as selection of good restaurants and recommendation of Chinese New Year banquets, to showcase Chengdu's happy lifestyle.

The relevant person of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce said that he hoped that this Food Festival would help citizens feel happy life in Park City under the snow mountain of Chengdu, boost the confidence of the catering industry, release consumption potential, reconstruct consumption ecology and promote the development of the international food city.
