China's Hubei Province Launches a Series of Activities Themed on 'Chinese New Year in Lovely Hubei'

The traditional Chinese Spring Festival holiday in 2023 is approaching, and people from all over the world are holding celebrations in various forms. In Hubei Province, a series of activities themed on "Chinese New Year in Lovely Hubei" sponsored by the local provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was launched recently. The themed film for the holiday and 15 Spring Festival-themed travel routes were also announced, officially commencing the cultural tourism activity series in Hubei during the Spring Festival holiday.

Around the Spring Festival, Hubei Province will hold more than a thousand cultural and tourism activities with six themes, introduce and implement more than 400  measures to benefit the people in terms of cultural tourism, and provide tourists with "cultural tourism feasts", creating a festival atmosphere with Hubei characteristics to thousands of households in an all-round way to let the people enjoy a happy and festive Spring Festival of the Year of the Rabbit.

In addition, a total of nearly 200 A-level tourist attractions in the province will introduce discounted tickets and even free entry policies to benefit the people during the Spring Festival holiday. There will be more preferential treatment options for special groups such as the elderly, medical workers, active soldiers, and children. The major scenic spots will also launch a variety of festival activities and projects to enrich the tourist experience.

To make sure that tourists can better experience the New Year atmosphere in Hubei, Hubei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism has jointly introduced 15 Spring Festival-themed travel routes with various cities and Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of the province.
