"Coastal Wonderland, Outstanding Yantai" Themed Flight Month (Yantai -ROK) Launched

On November 28, the launch ceremony of the "Coastal Wonderland, Outstanding Yantai" Themed Flight Month (Yantai-ROK) was held at Yantai International Airport. The event was jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee, CRI Online, and Shandong Airlines. It aims to deepen Sino-ROK economic, trade, and cultural exchanges, innovate the forms of Yantai's international communication, and enable the city brand "Coastal Wonderland, Outstanding Yantai" to transcend geographical barriers and gain prominence in the Republic of Korea.

Following its launch, Shandong Airlines' Yantai-ROK flights will serve as a link for this Themed Flight Month. The initiative will fully present Yantai's charm to travelers from China and the ROK through an integrated model of "in-flight displays and online communication", utilizing a variety of channels, such as CRI Online's global communication matrix, Shandong Airlines' in-flight videos, feature sections in Golden Bridge magazine, broadcast displays in the Shandong Airlines' "Luyan Pavilion" VIP lounge, and specialty cultural and creative souvenirs labeled "Made in Yantai".

As one of the organizers of this event, Shandong Airlines has been operating the Yantai-Seoul route for nearly 20 years, carrying over 700,000 passengers cumulatively. Currently, it operates seven flights per week on this route, achieving seamless connectivity between major domestic airports in China and South Korea. During this flight month, Shandong Airlines will screen a short video promoting Yantai on its aircraft and launch innovative products such as "One Extra Free Baggage for International Students", "Exclusive Golf Benefits", and "One-Stop Air-Rail Ticketing". In the future, Shandong Airlines will continue to increase the frequency of its routes and optimize its services, helping Yantai city brand gain recognition in South Korea through its quality services.

As part of "Shandong-ROK Rendezvous, Meeting in the Cloud" international communication series by CRI Online, this event, with Yantai as the first stop, not only highlights Yantai's important role in Shandong-ROK exchanges but also sets a solid foundation for the series. Moving forward, this international communication series will continue to use aviation as a bridge, promoting in-depth dialogue and practical cooperation between Shandong and the ROK across various fields such as culture and tourism, economy and trade, and folk customs, thereby establishing a more dynamic and regular communication platform for Sino-ROK exchanges.
