Filming Begins for The Secret of the Jardin Bussiere, a Featured Mini Series under "Beijing Grand Audio-Visual"

Last Saturday, filming began for The Secret of the Jardin Bussiere, a featured online literary and artistic production under the "Beijing Grand Audio-Visual" initiative. The mini series kicked off production at Hengdian World Studios in Zhejiang Province, with representatives from the production company, the creative team, and the leading cast all present to mark the occasion. The series highlights Beijing's wartime resistance and pays tribute to the heroes of the global anti-fascist movement.

The Secret of the Jardin Bussiere consists of 20 episodes, each lasting 3 to 5 minutes. It tells the story of French doctor Bussiere (played by Vincent Matile) and Chinese Communist Party underground member Huang Hao (played by An Ziyang), together with other courageous individuals from all walks of life in Beiping, the former name of Beijing. Using the Jardin Bussiere as a covert transit station, they risk their lives to establish a bicycle "Hump Route" through enemy blockades—vividly reflecting the internationalist spirit and revolutionary heroism on the Eastern front of the world anti-fascist war.

The series tells a rarely known but stirring historical episode from Beiping during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, innovatively adapting major revolutionary events into the mini series format. Rooted in real historical events, the script skillfully blends dramatic plotlines—such as medical supply transport and intelligence transmission—with authentic backdrops like Beiping's urban defenses and the Pearl Harbor attack, It captures both the suspense of a spy thriller and the profound historical weight of the era.
