Since its inaugural edition in 1955 at Beijing’s Xiyuan Grand Hotel (then known as the National Supply Conference), the CFDF has evolved over 70 years into a globally influential comprehensive exhibition for the food and beverage industry. Today, it serves not only as a "barometer" for China’s food sector and a "weathervane" for its liquor industry but also as a "decoder" of global food trends, mirroring China’s journey from following global standards to setting them.
This year’s CFDF spans an exhibition area of 325,000 square meters, attracting over 6,600 exhibitors, with several specialized zones debuting for the first time. Notably, the event introduced an AI Equipment Zone, featuring leading tech companies showcasing cutting-edge AI applications in the food industry. Additionally, a Health Food and Tech Services Zone premiered, highlighting innovations such as low-GI foods, clinical nutrition products, medicinal cuisine, and technology-driven solutions. Beyond exhibitions, the fair also hosted industry seminars and competitions.
The CFDF is not only a domestic flagship event but also a vital platform for international exchange. This year’s edition drew a significant global presence, with the International Zone covering nearly 60,000 square meters and hosting around 2,000 brands from over 50 countries and regions.
Through the CFDF, China’s food industry demonstrates its strengths and innovations to the world while absorbing advanced international technologies and ideas. In this moment, the CFDF transcends mere commerce, emerging as a "cultural exchange hub" that fosters mutual learning among civilizations.
