On April 25, the 11th Sichuan International Travel Expo commences in Emeishan City, Leshan. Covering an area over 30,000 square meters, this exhibition has attracted nearly 300 exhibitors. It features both indoor professional exhibition areas and outdoor interactive experience zones, comprehensively showcasing innovative cultural and tourism formats, technologies, and products. The event will run through April 27.

The expo is full of highlights, including 6 core activities, 10 professional exhibition areas, and 10 supporting activities. The six core events are the "Leshan Night" reception, guest tour of the exhibition, the opening ceremony, thematic exchange forums, business negotiation meetings, and tourism route inspections. Ten specialized exhibition zones cover low-altitude aviation, tourism equipment, Sichuan cultural tourism, senior tourism, Tianfu cuisine, cultural tourism consumption, tourist destinations, cultural performances and innovation, creative cultural relics, and featured exhibitions of guests. Supporting activities incorporate industry association exchanges, exhibitor product promotions, the 2025 Emeishan Off-Road Challenge, the 2025 "Relaxed Life" Megastar Concert, the "Explore Sichuan Through Cuisine" promotional campaign, Guochao(China Chic) music performances, 2025 “ Relaxed Life in Sichuan” Online Promotion Season, the 2025 May Day Leshan Cultural and Tourism Market, Joint Exhibition of World Grotto Heritage Artworks and Touring Exhibition of Fine Arts and Calligraphy Works from Sichuan and Chongqing.

The current Travel Expo has seen the signing of eight projects with a total investment of 8.88 billion yuan. 

As the only professional travel exhibition in Sichuan Province, the Sichuan International Travel Expo has been held annually in Leshan City since its inaugural edition in 2014, marking its tenth successful iteration this year. Building on the experience of previous editions, this year’s event aims to establish itself as both a professional event and a public celebration, emphasizing innovation, international engagement, comprehensive exhibition offerings, affordability, economic impact, and communication influence.
