On May 14, Chengdu’s Xinjin District launched its 2025 Summit on Advancing High-Quality Development of the Private Economy.

The event unveiled the “Five-Jin Spirit” for Xinjin’s private entrepreneurs: Dare to Venture, Excel in Innovation, Persevere with Integrity, Commit to Contribution, and Thrive in Collaboration. Five business leaders shared firsthand accounts of how these principles shaped their enterprises, breathing life into the spirit’s practical applications.

Concrete actions to fuel private sector growth took center stage. The Xinjin Private Economy Development Promotion Center was inaugurated, while the district released its 2025 Scenario Innovation List—spanning 23 opportunities across six frontiers: Artificial Intelligence, Low-Altitude Economy, Smart Cities, Green Food, Intelligent Equipment, and Digital-Physical Integration. By bridging government needs with market capabilities, Xinjin aims to open resources, build platforms, and cultivate ecosystems to “match scenarios to enterprises and products to scenarios,” attracting visionary “city partners.”

Investment deals exceeding 10 billion yuan were inked during the summit, injecting fresh vitality into Xinjin’s private economy.

Enhancing service efficiency emerged as a core theme. The district showcased 10 exemplary cases of streamlined services from 2024 and outlined its 2025 action plan, demonstrating tangible progress in optimizing the business environment.

Moving forward, Xinjin pledges to dismantle hidden barriers, integrate resources efficiently, and foster fair competition—cementing its legacy as the “Cradle of China’s Private Economy” while empowering businesses to thrive in an open, innovation-driven ecosystem.
