On July 5 and 6, the 2025 Leshan Global Tourism Marketing · Japan Station Promotional Event was successively held in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. As a key stop in Leshan’s annual global tourism campaign, these two events showcase the city’s profile, boost global visibility, and robustly advance the high-quality development of its inbound tourism market.

The Leshan Giant Buddha
The events featured photo exhibitions, cultural-creative displays, and live presentations. Leshan representatives introduced local tourism resources, tour routes, and cultural-tourism products through three aspects: spiritual landscapes, cultural resonance, and culinary delights. Attendees viewed the city image promotional video of Leshan, the external promotional video of the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area and the Mount Emei Scenic Area, alongside preferential policies for inbound tourism, etc. Ten customized tour routes tailored specifically for Japanese tourists were unveiled during the events.
The Golden Summit of Mount Emei
During the event, the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area signed a promotion agreement with Japan's HIS Co., Ltd. for overseas individual travel services. Also, discussions were held with major Japanese travel agencies about designing customized tour packages for Leshan. The city plans to set up overseas promotion channels through Japanese business associations and companies to showcase Leshan's urban image in various ways.
Participants spoke highly of the event, praising its attractive presentation of Leshan's scenery and food. They expressed strong interest in multi-level cooperation to help more Japanese people learn about, aspire to, and eventually visit Leshan. (By Wang Zihan, Jiang Zhuolin)
