Sichuan's “Anyue Lemon” was successfully included because of its exceptional quality and brand influence, marking a critical step in its development of branding and specialization. From the experimenting of planting the first lemon in 1929 to becoming China's only county-level commodity production base of lemon, with a century of development, the brand of Anyue Lemon is ready to venture into the world market with its brand as the driving force.

Anyue Lemons

Anyue lemons are rich in nutrients, containing various components such as citric acid, essential oils and pectin, offering edible, cosmetic and health values.  Large-scale planting bases have been established across all townships and subdistricts in the county. With an annual output of 600,000 tons, the lemons are sold in more than 30 countries and regions as well as in major and medium-sized cities throughout China. This industry has increased the income of 330,000 local fruit farmers and becoming the pillar industry of the local economy.

At the meanwhile, the deep processing industry of Anyue lemons is also rapidly developing. Today, Anyue has established 33 deep processing enterprises for lemons with over 200 products including juice, fruit wine, pectin and cosmetics, significantly enhancing the influence and premium pricing capability of the Anyue Lemon brand.

Standardized Lemon Production Base

Through continuous brand cultivation, the brand value of Anyue Lemon has reached 19.254 billion yuan. The “Anyue Lemon” trademark has successively earned honors such as “Sichuan Famous Trademark”, “Geographical Indication of P.R CHINA”, "China Well-Known Trademark” and “Tianfu Premium Product”. It has also been selected as one of the first national “Leading Brand” products and has been included in both the national “Specialty Agricultural Products” catalog and the Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the European Union on Cooperation on, and Protection of, Geographical Indications as first batch.
