On December 17th, the 29th Traditional Ancestor Worship Ceremony of Wuliangye was held at the foot of the Wuliangye Wine Sage Mountain in Yibin, known as the "Capital of Chinese Liquor".

Over its 29 editions, the ceremony has evolved from a mere corporate event to a cultural IP for the Chinese liquor industry, one that honors and promotes China's fine traditional culture.

The ceremony is not just about showcasing culture but also about passing down the spirit and skills of liquor-making. At the event, Zhao Dong, representative inheritor of the 26th generation of Wuliangye liquor-making and a national-level representative inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, led representatives of the 28th generation in chanting the Wuliangye Nine Precepts.

Then followed the reading of the memorial address and the liquor-pouring ritual to conclude the ceremony. This series of solemn rituals epitomizes the Chinese philosophy of ‘harmony between man and nature’ in liquor-making. Wuliangye's Traditional Ancestor Worship Ceremony expresses gratitude for nature's generosity, respects the principles of liquor-making, and honors the wisdom of liquor-making masters of generations.
