Recently, the 2026 Chengdu · Jintang Triathlon World Cup and a series of other triathlon events commenced in Jintang County, Chengdu.

On May 10th, the 2026 China · Jintang Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Triathlon Open was held, featuring two main categories — full distance and half distance — with 26 age groups divided by gender and age. The Olympic Distance event adhered to the latest competition rules of World Triathlon, promoting standardized and high-quality development of mass sports events through professional event management standards.

As a key highlight of the event, the ‘She Tri’ Pink Triathlon Challenge (Jintang Chengdu Stop) made its debut at the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities competition. This IP was launched by the Chinese Triathlon Association in 2025, aligning with the Healthy China strategy. With pink as its signature color, it focuses on being women-friendly, lowering participation barriers, and creating an exclusive platform for female sports enthusiasts to unleash their athletic potential and showcase their confidence, thereby promoting the flourishing development of women's sports.

At the exhibition & Sales Event

Additionally, the Sichuan Treasures · Jintang Village Candy Fair Exhibition & Sales and China Brand Day city tour, attracted a large number of visitors. To further promote the synergy between sports events, urban development, public welfare, and economic benefits, Jintang County partnered with 17 local businesses to offer ‘Triathlon Exclusive Benefits’, including flight experiences, go-karting, quality accommodation, specialty cuisine, and eco-friendly products, ensuring that the ‘ticket stub economy’ benefits a wide range of visitors.
