On May 25th, trainees from the Seminar on Cybersecurity for African Countries and the Seminar on Digital Capacity Building for China-ASEAN Countries arrived in Sichuan to begin a six-day study tour. On the first day, they visited the Aerofugia base and the Shudao Group Cultural Exhibition Hall, gaining an close-up view at innovations in the low-altitude economy and achievements in smart transportation in mountainous regions.

Aerofugia, a technology company under Geely Technology Group specializes in low-altitude mobility solutions. At the Aerofugia base, trainees observed applications of emerging technologies, including passenger drones and logistics delivery systems. Nyalar Charles Yor, a trainee from South Sudan, said, “Seeing China's development and the happy lives of its people truly makes me happy.” Shalom Elorm Yao, a trainee from Ghana, remarked, “This visit has been eye-opening. It shows me where the world is heading and what new development are worth learning from.”

Shudao Group, a Sichuan based Fortune Global 500 company, specializes in expressway construction and transportation infrastructure development. It has invested in and operated more than 11,400 kilometers of expressways and undertaken numerous world-class bridge and tunnel projects. At the group's cultural exhibition hall, trainees learned about Sichuan's achievements in transportation construction in complex mountainous terrain. After seeing high bridges, high-altitude long tunnels, and mountain roads, Adrian Admi, a trainee from Indonesia, expressed his admiration, saying: “China can build such extraordinary infrastructure—bridges so high, tunnels through high-altitude areas, and roads in mountainous regions. It's incredible. I feel a strong determination here to improve people's lives. I'm truly inspired.”

Through on-site visits, expert explanations, and interactive experiences, the trainees gained a vivid and in-depth understanding of China's progress in smart transportation and digital infrastructure—from Aerofugia's low-altitude innovative technologies to Shudao Group's mega transportation projects.
It is reported that over the next five days, the trainees will travel to various parts of Sichuan to participate in further study and exchange activities focusing on the digital economy, smart cities, and cybersecurity.
