On 29 September, the 2026 Chengdu Chongzhou Aviation (Low-Altitude) Industry Promotion Conference, themed "Building Dreams in Low-Altitude Aviation · Spreading Our Wings Over Chengdu", was held in Beijing. The event attracted approximately 80 guests from leading enterprises, universities and research institutes, industry associations and financial institutions in the aerospace and low-altitude economy sectors, who gathered to discuss cooperation and explore opportunities for development.

This promotional event was organised by the Chengdu Investment Promotion Bureau, the Chongzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chongzhou Municipal People's Government, with support from the Chengdu Municipal Committee's Office for Military-Civilian Integration and the Chengdu Municipal Transport Bureau, and was hosted by the Sichuan Chongzhou Economic Development Zone Management Committee and the Chongzhou Investment Promotion Bureau.

At the promotional event, Zhou Chaoyi, Deputy Secretary of the Chongzhou Municipal Party Committee, delivered an address. She stated that the low-altitude economy has now become an emerging pillar industry for the nation, serving as a new growth driver that empowers the real economy and stimulates regional development. As the core hub for Chengdu's aerospace (low-altitude) industry, Chongzhou is tasked with establishing a demonstration zone for the full-chain, multi-scenario development of the low-altitude economy in the west, and aims to see the scale of its aviation (low-altitude) industry exceed 10 billion yuan by 2030.

Chongzhou then gave a presentation on its aviation (low-altitude) industry, providing a comprehensive overview of the foundations, comparative advantages and investment opportunities of Chongzhou's low-altitude economy.

The line-up of organisations attending this promotional event was impressive, comprising over 40 companies, universities, research institutes, industry associations and financial institutions. These covered a range of specialised sectors, including the manufacture of complete low-altitude aircraft and low-altitude propulsion systems, which are highly aligned with the development direction of Chongzhou's aviation (low-altitude) industry.

At the promotional event, roadshow presentations were given on the research, development and manufacturing project for low-altitude embodied intelligent agents and the project on new optoelectronic composite nano-display materials. Representatives from enterprises investing in Chongzhou, including Zhongfa Tianxin (Sichuan) Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Fangshuo Aviation New Materials Co., Ltd., delivered speeches, sharing their experiences of investing and developing their businesses in Chongzhou.
