旋轉，跳躍，轉傘成花……畫面中跟著大家一起跳秧歌的女孩叫做羅珃，來自肯尼亞，是山東師範大學的留學生，來到中國已經有2年的時間。熱愛音樂和中國武術的她，對當地的鼓子秧歌情有獨鍾，在她看來鼓子秧歌完美地融合了音樂與武術兩種完全不同的藝術。忙碌的課業之餘，她也會和夥伴們一起跳一場中國秧歌。

　　鼓子秧歌起源於濟南市商河縣，已有兩千多年的歷史，是民間為慶豐收而載歌載舞的一種藝術形式。鼓子秧歌人數眾多，磅薄恢宏，有著厚重的歷史文化和鮮明的地方特色。每逢農曆正月十五日前後，在商河縣處處可以看見鼓子秧歌表演。

　　學跳鼓子秧歌並不是一件容易的事。鼓子秧歌分為傘、鼓、棒、花、醜五大角色，以“跑場子”為特色，舞蹈動作與中國武術息息相關，比如“二起崩子”“旋風腳”等。羅珃和夥伴們為了更加了解鼓子秧歌的文化內涵，來到了當地向國家級非遺項目(鼓子秧歌)傳承人楊克勝虛心求教。
