Chengdu's First TOD Project Intersected by Subway, High-Speed Rail and Airport Officially Listed

On December 9th, Chengdu's first TOD project "Shuangliu West TOD · Sihai Yunjin" (abbreviation: Shuangliu West TOD project), which involves the intersection of subway, high-speed rail and airport, was officially listed. The overall positioning of the Shuangliu West TOD project as a "city-level benchmarking future air-land hub" will rely on the advantages of airport and rail resources, and adopt the development model of "rail transit + characteristic business + quality life + park community" to promote the functional integration of the rail transit circle, the industrial ecosystem and the citizen's life circle, and realize the renewal and upgradation of the region.

From the perspective of the integrated design, the Shuangliu West TOD project will build one hub, three industrial belts and slow trails in the area, introduce public service facilities such as full-age education, quality medical care, specialty businesses, and talent communities to build an airport industry demonstration zone with the "triple networks' integration" of industrial network, transportation network, and greenway network, and help present the west Chengdu urban living room with full passenger coverage, multi-business integration, and one-stop satisfaction.

In terms of the ecological resources, the Shuangliu West TOD Project is adjacent to the "Five Lakes and Four Seas" park under construction, with a natural area of approximately 8,000 mu, including 9 artificial lakes, which will shape a regional ecological pattern of the city within the park, the park within the city and an integration of both the city and the park.
