The XSRITE2018 will highlight exotic culture of Turkey

The Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2018 (XSRITE) will open at the Qujiang International Conference and Exhibition Center running from March 30 till April 1.The Expo is China's first international tourism event with a unique theme focused on the Silk Road tourism. This is the fifth year since it started from 2014.

Initiated and managed by Shaanxi Provincial Commission for Tourism Development, this year's expo is themed on “High-Quality Tourism and Mutual Development”. It is jointly organized by Provincial Commission for Tourism Development of Shanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai and Xinjiang as well as Tourism Administration of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

It is learned that the XSRITE2018 has gathered over 500 exhibitors from 31 Chinese provinces/regions/municipalities and 35 foreign countries and regions by March 20. It has invited more than 500 professional buyers from China and abroad. More than 7000 professional visitors and more than 80000 public visitors will be expected to attend this mass event.

This year’s expo has more features than previous ones.First of all, the time for holding the event has been changed to March when the weather is more pleasant than August for exhibitors and buyers to attend. Secondly, policies for the whole year of tourism enterprises and scenic spots have been announced ahead of time so as to make it more convenient for the public to draw up plans for tour.  

The XSRITE2018 will feature seven exhibition zones: international zone, province and city zones, consumer exhibition zone of Shanxi province,the hot spring tour, delicate cuisine, tourism commodities, and the exhibition zone dedicated to self-drive tour and recreational vehicle camping.

It is worth mentioning that the guest of honor of the XRITE2018 is Turkey, which is located on the ancient Silk Road. This transcontinental country in Eurasia with magnificent civilization will bring magic to the public. 

It is learned that 300 exhibitors will hold 200 activities that sell discounted tickets and itineraries to the public on the open day. The total amount of benefits will reach 1000 and the sum of money will amount to 500 million yuan. The exhibition zone dedicated to tourism consumption will sell discounted tickets and itineraries worthy of 300 million yuan. （Ralph Kuick）
