The opening ceremony of 2019 Libai Culture Festival was held in Jiangyou, Sichuan

On November 1st, the opening ceremony of 2019 Li Bai Culture Festival with the theme of “World’s Li Bai and Li Bai's Jiangyou” was held in Qinglian Libai Poetry Town, Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, China.

Jiangyou is the birthplace of Li Bai, the great romantic poet of China. It has a long history, rich culture, solid industry, unique location, convenient transportation, and beautiful ecology. It is also an excellent tourist city in China and a historical and cultural city in Sichuan Province.

The Festival aims to use culture as a medium, build a bridge of friendship, and expand opportunities for cooperation. Cooperation and win-win is the mainstream of the times development. Jiangyou will establish friendly cooperative relations with Chiang Mai City of Thailand and Namangan City of Uzbekistan, and sign regional cooperative development agreements with Gongyi City of Henan Province, Tiantai County of Zhejiang Province, Guanghan City of Sichuan Province and Langzhong City.

During Li Bai Culture Festival, Jiangyou will hold "International Cooperation in Cultural Industry - Global Youth Elite Dialogue", "Global Li Bai", Sino-Thai Cultural Exchange Conference, and "Belt and Road" Intangible cultural heritage exhibition and other activities.
