The State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company Supports the Growth of the Chrysanthemum Industry with Reliable Power

       Recently, at the Taijizhuang Planting Base in Xiashijing Village, Huanghe Street, Wenxian County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, China, acres of chrysanthemums were in full bloom, ready for harvest.

　　“The chrysanthemums will soon be harvested on a large scale, and the baking and production workshops will be fully operational. With a stable power supply, the chrysanthemum products are sure to fetch a good price this year!” said Chen Lei, the head of the Taijizhuang Project, to the staff of the Yandong Power Supply Station, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company.

　　In recent years, Xiashijing Village has attracted project funding of 1.0758 million yuan, added three new production lines, including those for Huai Chrysanthemum and yam powder, and equipped various types of machinery. The entire production process has been fully electrified to enhance management efficiency.

　　At the beginning of 2024, after receiving a power supply request from the Taijizhuang Planting Base, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company immediately organized staff to conduct an on-site assessment. They tailored a power supply solution, adding a 200 kVA transformer and simultaneously installing over 200 meters of high and low voltage lines to ensure the enterprise’s development.

　　In November, as chrysanthemums entered the harvest season, staff from State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company actively provided power services, including line inspections, hazard removal, and safety electrical guidance. With a stable power supply, the value of the Huai herbal medicine industry at the Taijizhuang Planting Base is expected to reach 13 million yuan in 2024, creating employment for over 300 workers from surrounding villages and ensuring that the benefits of rural revitalization extend to more people.
