As the cold winter approaches, the electricity grid load continues to rise. To ensure the safe and stable supply of power and fulfill the winter power supply duties, the Xiayi Dispatch Control Center of State Grid Shangqiu Power Supply Company has actively mobilized its staff, taking a variety of effective measures to fully safeguard the public’s warmth during the winter.
Based on equipment operation data from previous winters and the feasibility of the grid construction plan, the Xiayi Dispatch Control Center of State Grid Shangqiu Power Supply Company conducted a comprehensive assessment to arrange multiple winter projects, effectively enhancing the load capacity of power grid equipment. The Center carried out the load forecasting work for the winter of 2024, gaining a thorough understanding of equipment operating conditions and carefully recording the operation data of the power grid equipment. It also strengthened grid monitoring, closely monitoring the grid’s operation throughout the day. Based on changes in grid load, the Center promptly adjusted the grid’s operational methods, fully enhancing the grid’s power supply capacity. It also strengthened line inspections by adopting a “point + area” approach to comprehensively coordinate and prioritize key areas. Multiple detailed inspections were conducted on the power supply lines within its service range, and a “network-style” approach was used to identify potential hazards. The Center conducted on-site balancing drills for the winter peak, emphasizing practical exercises to enhance its ability to manage and adjust load during the winter electricity peak. Besides, it strengthened coordination and cooperation across departments and levels, reinforcing the foundation for a reliable power supply. Additionally, fully leveraging the advantages of multiple channels such as WeChat public accounts, grid service groups, and Moments, the Center promoted safe and energy-efficient electricity use and conducted door-to-door services by focusing on customer needs.
