Xuchang power department provides one-on-one support for the beekeeping industry

　　On November 20, Meng Qingfeng and Li Jingwei, managers of the Fo’erhu Power Supply Station, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company, visited Shangzhuang Village in Fo’erhu Town, Changge City, Xuchang, Henan Province, China. They assisted Zhuoyu Bee Industry Co., Ltd. in identifying potential safety hazards in their electrical equipment and provided feedback on the problems to the person in charge of the enterprise.

　　In recent years, Shangzhuang Village has steadily expanded its beekeeping operations and upgraded its honey product processing industry, establishing an integrated industrial chain that spans from bee breeding to honey product processing and the production of beekeeping tools.

　　In 2015, Zhuoyu Bee Industry Co., Ltd. established a modern processing facility for beekeeping tools,  integrating the research and development of automatic beekeeping tools, the processing of hardware beekeeping tools, and the production of plastic beekeeping tools. Therefore, the demand for electricity has increased. The State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company dispatched staff to assess the enterprise's electricity load. They facilitated a green channel for electricity services and completed the installation of a 630 kVA dedicated transformer within seven days.

　　Currently, there are 85 honey product manufacturing enterprises in Shangzhuang Village. To meet the electricity needs of the local beekeeping industry, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has planned and developed the distribution network in advance. Since 2015, it has constructed and upgraded 13.64 kilometers of high-voltage and low-voltage power lines in Shangzhuang Village and added a total distribution capacity of 2,400 kVA.

　　To ensure reliable electricity for the development of the beekeeping industry, the Fo’erhu Power Supply Station has assigned dedicated account managers to the honey product enterprises in Shangzhuang Village, providing one-on-one service. The Station has also established a WeChat group for power supply services in the village, enabling businesses to receive timely support both online and offline.
