The State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company Fully Ensures Steady Production and Increased Income of High-Standard Farmland

　　Recently, in the 60,000 mu (9,884 acres) high-standard farmland demonstration area in Chencao Village, Chencao Town, Jian’an District, Xuchang City, Henan Province, Li Weijie, a major grain grower, expressed confidence in the wheat harvest of 2025 as he observed the newly constructed 10 kV power supply lines and transformers.

　　Chencao Town is one of the towns involved in the 2024 high-standard farmland project of Xuchang City, Henan Province, which covers an area of 125,000 mu (20,592 acres). To meet the electricity demand of high-standard farmland, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has actively carried out the construction of supporting power facilities to provide ample electricity support for the project.

　　To ensure the smooth construction of the project, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has formed specialized teams for project construction and material supply, fully ensuring cohesive and orderly progress. Additionally, the Company has established a regular consultation mechanism and provided weekly updates on the progress of high-standard farmland infrastructure construction to maintain orderly advancement. During the construction process, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company strictly controls quality at key stages and actively strives to create a high-quality project.

　　Since 2024, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has completed 179 high-voltage facility construction projects and renovated and established a total of 122.62 kilometers of 10 kV lines. Meanwhile, the Company has added 179 new transformer districts, and increased the distribution transformer capacity by 19,600 kVA, thereby effectively meeting the electricity demands for irrigation in high-standard farmlands.
