Jiaozuo City in Henan Province Safeguards Its Characteristic Breeding Industry Chain with a Stable Power Supply

　　Recently, staff from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited the laying hen breeding base in Chenzhuang Village, Heyong Office, Mengzhou City, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, to promote electrical safety awareness for winter.

　　The breeding base produces over 25,000 eggs daily and is expected to achieve a net annual income of 1 million yuan. The facility consists of five henhouses, each equipped with five large fans for ventilation, an intelligent feeding system and automatic manure cleaning devices.

　　"Our base features highly automated and intelligent breeding equipment, which requires substantial electricity. We are grateful for the reliable power supply," said Tang Junwei, a breeder.

　　In summer, fans in the henhouses need to operate 24 hours a day, prompting the power service team to increase the frequency of inspections on power lines and electrical equipment. In autumn and winter, when various devices are only used periodically, the team focuses on inspecting control switches and related lines. The staff also assist with the installation and operation of new equipment, provide guidance on safe electricity usage, and enhance the safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of the employees in the breeding base.
