State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company strengthens its electrical and fire safety measures

　　As the Winter Solstice approaches and temperatures in Sanmenxia continue to drop, the demand for electricity for heating is on the rise, escalating the risk of fire hazards to power equipment.

　　To actively address the overload of electrical equipment due to increased winter electricity usage, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company has planned ahead and taken proactive measures to strengthen the inspection of power transmission lines and enhance the promotion of electrical safety, further ensuring the safe and stable electricity use for the public during winter.

　　Since 2024, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company has increased the inspection efforts of power transmission lines across mountainous and forested areas through a variety of methods, including fixed-point observation, infrared temperature measurement, line visualization devices, and drone inspections. Additionally, staff of the Company have also arranged reasonable maintenance schedules, thereby further improving the reliability of equipment operation. Moreover, grid operators for power supply have been organized to visit communities and rural areas. The operators distributed power service cards and educated residents on electricity safety and electrical fire prevention, ensuring on-site visits and direct communication.

　　So far, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company has addressed over 80 fire hazards in transmission line corridors and has visited more than 520,000 households using electricity for heating, solidifying the fire safety and power protection network with practical actions.

　　Next, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company will continue to closely monitor weather and temperature changes, persist in providing quality power services, and ensure that the residents stay warm during the winter with safety and security.
