Recently, to ensure the safe and stable operation of transmission lines during the winter, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company organized personnel to carry out defect management and address hidden dangers in key urban transmission lines and electric rail traction systems, fully safeguarding the power supply throughout the winter.
As of December 16, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company has conducted differentiated inspections of 15 electric rail traction stations using UAV patrols and manual inspections. Staff of the company identified and resolved 32 defects and addressed 786 potential hazards. Meanwhile, they have leveraged various technical means, including corridor visualization and micro-meteorology, to enhance monitoring of key transmission lines, ensuring timely awareness of the operational status in areas prone to ice accumulation. In addition, based on years of experience in ice prevention, the company has installed 41 online monitoring devices, such as enhanced corridor visualization and ice tension sensors, to fill monitoring gaps. Moreover, training has been provided on the use of manual and mechanical de-icing equipment, to ensure readiness for emergency responses in freezing disaster weather.
Moving forward, the State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company will closely monitor weather conditions and continue to increase the frequency of transmission line inspections. Meanwhile, the company will also accurately assess the operating status of equipment, promptly eliminate potential equipment defects, and effectively ensure the safe and stable operation of transmission lines during the winter.
