On December 16, at the vegetable greenhouse base in Nanxi Village, Baixiang Town, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, rows of greenhouses were neatly arranged, with villagers busy picking, bagging, and transporting vegetables. Staff from the Baixiang Central Power Supply Station of the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company were assisting farmers in inspecting electrical equipment to ensure the healthy growth of vegetables during the winter.

In recent years, Nanxi Village has made scientific plans, adjusting its industrial structure and innovating its development model. It has built 33 greenhouses, cultivating specialty agricultural products such as morel mushrooms and horn-shaped honeydew melons. Due to the low temperatures in winter, greenhouses require automated equipment to control temperature, humidity and other factors, leading to an increased electricity load. To ensure safe and reliable electricity for greenhouse growers, staff from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited the greenhouse farming base to assess the electricity needs. They voluntarily inspected electrical equipment and wiring, eliminating potential electrical safety hazards.
In recent years, with the increase in rural industrial projects, the electricity demand for specialty farming and green livestock breeding has been steadily rising. The State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has actively aligned with the electricity needs of rural industrial development, continuously optimizing resource allocation. The Company has also regularly conducted comprehensive inspections of farmers’ electrical facilities, ensuring safer, more reliable, and more satisfactory electricity use for vegetable growers, ultimately helping them increase both production and income.
