Nanyang City, Henan Province Helps the Development of Strawberry Planting Industry with Sufficient Electricity

　　Recently, at the Qushou Ecological Strawberry Greenhouse Planting Base in Xichuan County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, China, over a dozen villagers were busy picking strawberries. The vibrant, flavorful strawberries have brought significant income to local farmers and stand as a shining emblem of local specialty agricultural products.

　　There are 3 strawberry bases and over 260 greenhouses in Jiuchong Town, Xichuan County. Additionally, nearly 100 mu of open-field strawberries have been cultivated. To ensure a reliable power supply for the ecological strawberry cultivation, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company organized staff to regularly visit the strawberry planting bases. They inspected the power lines, distribution boxes, and other electrical facilities to eliminate any potential hazards.

　　To ensure the electrical reliability of the strawberry bases, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has insulated and upgraded 3 kilometers of the main 10kV Jiuxing line and installed a sectionalizing switch. This project, which connects the high-voltage power supply to the strawberry bases, has been included in the fourth batch of distribution network projects for 2024, and is now ready for implementation.

　　"With the solid guarantee from the power supply company, our strawberries are growing well on the whole. They are big, brightly colored, taste great and have a high yield. The average income per mu can reach 50,000 yuan," said Wang Fengju, a strawberry grower, happily.

　　With the strong guarantee of power services, the ecological strawberry planting industry in Xichuan is progressing towards a more large-scale and scientifically driven direction.
