Jiaozuo City in Henan Province leverages electricity to drive its characteristic agricultural industries towards a green and low-carbon development

　　Recently, service personnel from the Chengguan Power Supply Station of the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited Jiaozuo Huaizhiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to provide guidance on electrical solutions for the establishment of the company's air-source drying systems.

　　In recent years, Jiaozuo City in Henan Province has actively promoted the clean energy use, transitioning from coal and biomass pellets burning to air-source drying. In Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, China, a centralized initiative has been undertaken to manage 160 coal-fired drying lines for agricultural products such as Rehmannia and Chinese yam. This has led to the establishment of seven major air-source drying centers for these medicinal crops. Notably, Huaizhiyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has distinguished itself as an industry leader, demonstrating how green development can revitalize the traditional medicine sector.

　　"We've shifted from conventional preparation techniques to air-source drying, which is not only environmentally friendly but also reduces labor costs, marking a significant leap in product quality," explained Bai Ligong, the person in charge of the company.

　　As electricity demand grows, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has tailored its main grid operations to meet the specific needs of businesses. The Company encourages enterprises to use electricity during off-peak hours to save energy and reduce consumption. To support this, staff of the Company have planned and designed the installation of two 1000 kVA transformers for the production areas and one 200 kVA transformer for the office areas of these enterprises.

　　Next, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company will continue to optimize the power supply structure, promote the use of clean energy, and drive a shift in China's Huaiyao industry from traditional high-energy consumption and high emissions to a low-carbon, environmentally friendly green development model. This transition aims to provide strong support for the green transformation of the Huaiyao industry.
