Recently, as the Spring Festival approaches, staff from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited the Pilaohu Production Studio in Shangzuo Village, Dading Street, Mengzhou City, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. They inspected the electrical equipment and provided guidance on safe electricity usage.
The crafting of Pilaohu is intricate and meticulous, involving over 60 steps from shaping and cutting to coloring. Adequate and stable electricity is crucial for key stages like leather processing and painting.
To ensure the smooth continuation of the intangible cultural heritage of "Pilaohu", the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company conducted a comprehensive electrical inspection in Shangzuo Village. Additionally, staff visited the studio of the heritage inheritor, Wang Liangwen, to meticulously check the wiring and electrical equipment. They promptly replaced old and damaged wires and sockets to address potential safety hazards, fully meeting the electrical needs for the preservation of this cultural legacy.
"We place great importance on ensuring a reliable power supply for intangible cultural heritage projects, such as the Pilaohu, to support their preservation and development," said Liu Fuhao, the director of the Heyang Power Supply Station under the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company.
Moving forward, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company will continue to refine its power supply services, address electrical challenges during the inheritance process and actively safeguard this precious cultural heritage.
