Recently, in Xiawa Village, Guanzhang Town, Neixiang County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, the Guanzhang Power Supply Station of the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company organized personnel to conduct thorough inspections of the transformer districts and distribution equipment within the village. They checked the operation status of the rural power grid and formulated rectification plans based on findings. This initiative aims to enhance the electricity usage experience of local residents and ensure a stable power supply during spring farming.
The State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has closely aligned its efforts with the distribution characteristics of the county’s power grid and the electricity demands of agricultural production. It has scientifically developed an implementation plan for ensuring safe electricity use during spring farming. In line with the grid-based management requirements, the company has organized comprehensive inspections of power facilities and lines within its jurisdiction area. Additionally, it has also established a hazard-tracking system through account cancellation management.
Moreover, the staff installed anti-collision warning devices on the power distribution facilities in the fields and reinforced the foundations of poles and towers. In addition, they carried out a comprehensive check of the irrigation electrical equipment and promptly cleared obstacles from power line corridors. Through these measures, they comprehensively enhanced the rural power grid’s ability to withstand risks and the health level of the equipment.
The State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has also launched the “Power Service into Every Home” campaign. Staff visited villages and households to provide door-to-door services. They helped villagers identify potential electrical hazards at home, solved on-site electricity problems, and educated them about knowledge of safe electricity use and regulations on protecting power facilities. Moreover, the company took preventive measures against potential safety hazards such as agricultural machinery accidentally hitting power equipment and flammable materials piled under power lines, thus providing a reliable power supply guarantee.
Looking ahead, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company will fully leverage the advantages of the rural power supply service grid. By relying on the WeChat groups for village-electricity co-governance, the company will collect the villagers’ electricity demands in real time. In addition, the company will implement the “grid-based + online” service model to ensure a rapid response to the villagers’ electricity-related requests and the precise implementation of services.
