Recently, at the heavy-duty truck charging station of Dongyang Logistics Co., Ltd. in Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, technicians from State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Co., Ltd. meticulously inspected the operation of heavy-duty truck charging piles.

In early 2025, to expand its transportation business, Dongyang Logistics Co., Ltd. purchased electric heavy-duty trucks, installed twelve 400 kW DC charging piles, and applied for the installation of two 2,500 kW transformers. “We aim to achieve green transformation in transportation through electric heavy-duty trucks,” said Du Shuangfeng, head of Dongyang Logistics Co., Ltd.

Upon receiving the electricity application, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Co., Ltd. conducted multiple site surveys and invested 450,000 yuan to install 1.35 km of 10 kV cables and supporting power facilities, ensuring power access for project construction and operation.

Over the past two years, Xixia County has accelerated the adoption of new energy vehicles and advanced the development of a green, low-carbon transportation system. New-energy heavy-duty trucks have been widely used for transporting cement, coal ash, and other materials. State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Co., Ltd. has established a joint business expansion project team, bringing together cross-departmental experts to steadily advance the project.

To date, Xixia County has built four heavy-duty truck charging stations with a combined capacity of 12,500 kilowatts. Through high-quality services, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Co., Ltd. provides reliable power supply for the wider adoption of new energy vehicles and the continued development of a green, low-carbon transportation system.
