Recently, staff from the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company carried out special inspections of power lines, and conducted comprehensive checks on equipment and line operations. All identified defects and potential risks were promptly addressed to ensure the power grid will operate safely and reliably throughout the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.

As part of its autumn safety inspection campaign, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company organized all production departments to conduct thorough hazard investigations. Comprehensive inspections were carried out at substations and along transmission lines, while safety checks were also conducted at key public venues such as government offices, hospitals, major hotels, and tourist reception centers. Staff carefully recorded details including inspection times, ambient and measured temperatures, and load conditions. They checked switching equipment for signs of overheating or damage, and compared temperature readings with historical data to ensure values remained within safe limits and equipment functioned normally. In response to recent weather conditions and fluctuations in electricity demand, the company strengthened load forecasting, optimized grid operation, and refined contingency planning. Emergency management was strengthened through comprehensive checks of on-duty vehicles, safety tools, and repair equipment, along with organized drills to verify rapid response capabilities and ensure effective incident resolution.
