Over the past 23 years living in China, she has relieved 200,000 patients of pain and darkness by restoring their sight with a benevolent heart and exquisite medical skills. For her unremitting efforts and remarkable contributions to the development of ophthalmology in China, she was awarded the highest award for foreign experts in China - the "Friendship Award" by the Chinese government.
