Recently, the Dayi Conservation Station of the Chengdu Section of the Giant Panda National Park launched a new round of patrol, and found valuable images of wild animals such as giant pandas, snow leopards, golden monkeys, rock sheep and takins captured by infrared monitoring cameras more than once.

It is learnt that the area where the rare wild animals including the giant panda were found is mainly within the range of the protection station of Dasuanping in the Dayi Area of Giant Panda National Park, an altitude of about 1800 meters to 3800 meters. Wild giant panda activities are mainly in the arrow bamboo forest, which has a mild climate, high humidity, 100 percent vegetation coverage and a good natural environment. Snow leopards are found in alpine grasslands and rhododendron forests above 3,500 meters above sea level. One of the sites where various wildlife were found is located at the junction of Dayi County and Jiguan Mountain National Forest Park in Chongzhou City, and is known as the "Animal Passage".
