Recently, the 2022 China Building Economy and Headquarters Economy Global Cooperation Conference was held in Chengdu.

Fan Gang, a well-known economist and vice president of the China Economic System Reform Research Association, and Peter Carl Coroso, a professor of economics at Bucknell University in the United States, were invited to give speeches at the conference. At the same time, guests from New York, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other places also participated in the conference through live broadcast, and talked about the new trend of the economic development of Chengdu headquarters.

The conference led to the signing of 42 major projects on site, with a total amount of 32.5 billion yuan. The "Chengdu Metropolitan Area Investment Opportunity List" was also released at the conference, focusing on the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the Chengdu Metropolitan Area, involving supply and demand information such as enterprise (project) recruitment, industrial collaboration, project construction and operation, and talent demand, including 23 districts (cities) and counties of Chengdu, Deyang City, Meishan City, Ziyang City, a total of 444 projects with an amount of nearly 800 billion yuan. The release of the list released a large number of urban development needs and business development opportunities, promoted the effective connection of projects, scenarios, technologies, and needs and stimulated the vitality of industrial development, jointly building the Chengdu metropolitan area with international competitiveness and regional driving force.
