The 31st Summer Universiade Delegation Heads' Spring Meeting Opens in Chengdu

On March 28th, the spring meeting of the delegation heads of the 31st Summer Universiade was opened in Chengdu. A total of 79 delegations participated in this meeting, of which 33 delegations attended the meeting on-site, and 46 delegations participated through online.

This meeting is an important communication platform for the host city and delegations of the 31st Summer Universiade. It is conducive to enhancing understanding and mutual trust, boosting confidence among all parties, stimulating the vitality of the main body, and driving more countries and regions to participate.

This meeting was held in an "offline+online" manner, explaining the policies and procedures for 15 business segments, including registration, visa, arrival and departure, competition, and venues. At the meeting, the medical department of the International University Sports Federation made a medical work report.

During the 4-day meeting, participating delegations will also conduct field visits to 27 competition venues and Universiade villages to fully understand the facilities and venue conditions of each venue. In addition, the three major ball games consisting of water polo, basketball, and volleyball will also be drawn during the meeting.

During the conference, all participating delegations will also participate in urban cultural experience activities. They will deeply integrate into the natural ecology and urban life of Chengdu along the "Jinjiang Greenway", truly experience urban construction, cultural history, ecological environment, and characteristic cuisine, and fully understand, perceive, and experience Chengdu.
